I'm just an average guy it seems
I'm not the guy of my baby's dreams
I'm like a million other guys out there
Like ones you can find anywhere
Took a chance, my heart did dare
At her beauty I did stare
Got caught up and totally lost in her
In lust with her that's for sure
Thought I was somebody special though
Seems I'm just an average Joe
Hate practicing this foolish risky stuff
My normal life is never enough
Always seem to have to have more
Chase others away, out the door
Heart left bleeding on the floor
Look at that pitiful fool, what a nut
Thought he was cool cuz she showed him her butt
Pathetic idiot of the ages
I'll take my leave and consult with the sages
Cold hearted god who rules my fate
Put this girl in another state
Makes me have to hope and wait
For something that may never possibly be
Was only my imaginagtion you see
