Jungle Jane Category: Writing and Poetry Nibbling on your navel You set out into the wooded green Running with a purpose Tigress adorned and searching Ripping and tearing through branch and limb Unseen but ever wanting Pretty baby Climbing tall trees under the canopy The blanket of flora and fauna Woman, creature, my special feature Sunbathing on the rocks Rafting down the rapids Not looking for the exit She plans to stay in this Garden of Eden She sees her reflection in a tranquil pool of lavendar water Sweet filled with nectar She is a pretty sight To behold Pert and perky She wades at the base of a jungle waterfall Waiting for night to fall When she hunts her prey Wild bore and wildebeast Woman touch my skin Woman rip my flesh Woman do with me what you will Save not a morsel for the morrow Now rest your pretty head For there are more things to sample In this foggy sea of green
