Gabriella Category: Writing and Poetry I was clean and sober at that time for about 7 years. I was a field service computer technician. I got this really great gig where they sent me out to different locations paying my air fare, my rental car, my nice hotel rooms, and $40.00 dollars a day for food. On one of my trips I was staying in what seemed like a penthouse suite at the Doubletree in San Jose. They gave me still warm chocolate chip cookies when I checked in. One night I was at this AA meeting on Julian street at this place called Al Amigos. It's a cool little clubhouse with a grill, a TV, a bar to sit at and eat, umbrellas outside to sit under and smoke, and the meeting room is the bomb. In the meeting room there's sofas to sit on or comfy chairs. I was sitting in the meeting enjoying the person's share at the time when this blonde haired cutie with a nice butt and tight jeans walks in. When it was her turn to share she said her name was Gabriella and that she had 8 years clean and sober. She had a thick Russian accent, but she could speak very good english, like she'd lived here many years. The way she was sitting on that sofa kinda rolled on her side a little was highlighting that nice perky round butt of hers. After the meeting most of the people in the meeting headed outside to light up a smoke. There was a guy in the meeting that really had his eye on her and he went to make his move on Gabriella quickly so as to cut everyone else off at the pass. She turned him down, hahaha. I calmly walked over to her and asked her to go shoot some pool just like my buddy did, and she said yes, with my buddy looking on. That got me all aroused let me tell you. Her and I headed out to the downtown streets of San Jose. The trollies were running up and down the streets, and some parts of the streets were wet from nightclub owners watering down the sidewalks and streets. The water reflected back the beautifully colored neon lights. Everything was just right and sparkly. Gabriella took me by the hand and led me to this cafe that had fish aquariums and large comfy sofas. She refused for me to buy her a latte, she insisted on buying me one. She came back with our lattes and sat down and we chatted for a while. Then we headed back out into the night, free like birds to do what we wanted. The night was dry and cool, and as we walked down the street I took a chance and put my arm around her sexy thin waist. She didn't complain, so I snuck a little feel of that tight ass like it was an accident. When we got to where the HP Arena is she had to go pee. It was too late with everything closed around there so she just squatted down in this park, she asked me to look away. Just as I heard the tinkle of her pee a car full of rowdy guys drove by and started screaming "Hell Yeah, do it girl". She zipped up and I walked her home giving her a great big sloppy kiss. (To be continued) This was a poem I wrote about that first night with Gabriella. It was one of my first ones I posted on myspace, it didn't get a single comment. But I think it's a hell of a poem, I'll try it out here one more time. City Streets City streets late at night The trolly leaves and sheds her light Steam rose up from reflecting pools of shimmering light Two hearts beat as one and love was born in late twightlight Modern art and lazy sofas Sumatran coffee and and penny loafers She stood near my side, I was proud My heart was beating fast and loud She was mine on this starry night Years of lonliness healed at her sight She squatted down to take a pea A car drove by, guys shouted with glee I walked her home and gave her a kiss I never knew I could feel like this A time that helped define my life Gave me character, helped me forget my strife We walked together on this road for a few more weeks Splashing in puddles and dispelling our demons We grinded through the night Lovers entwined in languid flight We swam through ecstasy clouds purple and pink When not by her side, of her I would think A friend consoled Advised rejoining my fold Made a snap decision To leave this beautiful vision Gabriella was her name I look around for her now and then My heart will never be the same Without my Russian beauty from San Jose And her lovely golden mane
