Fields of Green The wind blew through her hair As she rode her beautiful mair A horse she cared for every day She passed the hours away Feeding her horse with hay walking her horse along She came upon a magic trail Could she go on, she felt kind of frail But mustering all she had She turned down the trail and came upon a lad He said follow me young lass I want to show you a house It's built in a tree My father built it and he left it for me She followed the boy to his home Graceful and stately it was Tucked in a tree and surrounded by a forest emerald green It was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen The house was like a castle inside Many rooms and places to hide Then the lad escorted her home He gave her a kiss and said You never ever have to be alone For right here I am for you girl And right here I'll always be We can play in the river and slide down the falls We can climb to my house and wander it's halls I will be your prince and you will be my queen We will paint rainbows and clouds my girl of thirteen.
