A Beautiful Mind Category: Writing and Poetry A beautiful mind is a thing not to waste Going through this world in haste Chasing shallow things you dare Finding only cupboards bare A beautiful boy into this world you came Family split up, your heart took the blame Made mistakes wound up in jail Searching for the holy grail Ended up out on bail Made your mother begin to wail Made a mistake ended up in love Felt sorry for this beautiful dove She was so lonely in this world Far away from her home was this brown eyed girl She had your child and made you a man Without a clue and nary a plan It was the responsible thing to do Mary a girl when your heart wasn't true Be her hero and not a zero Give away your life Live in strife With your new found wife The years passed by had two more kids Hacking computer and watching vids Time passes by for this beautiful boy Fate fucked him out of his ultimate joy Played around with his heart like it was a toy He's living now a miserable life Wedded to the incorrect wife He's lost and falling There's nobody calling His heart is bawling He longs for an answer from above God release him from this untrue love Find her a happy place to be Make her content and give her glee Let him hold his head up high With no regrets piling up to the sky To know that he hasn't hurt a soul One of God's kids from within his fold Give him pretty baby's hand To walk accross this great big land To sample sacred treasures bare To take our pleasures without a care This beautiful boy with all his love Who used to coo like a dove When he was a lad in his crib Sitting in his high chair with a dirty bib Don't let this beautiful mind go to waste Let him dawn his wings and fly in haste To that place up above where his nana lives And Mother Theresa and people that give A place near your side my beautiful Lord He needs rest from figting the relentless horde The superficial people who fight for scraps Where the women wear lace and leather chaps Men placing dollars into their waste For the promise of a little taste Pounding their drinks and going home bare To beat on their wife's with hardly a care This is not where your boy wants to be He'd rather be reading poetry to C-A-B The girl with a hat so blue and hip Black paint on her eyes, lashes, and lips With a beautiful smile and a soul like a dove Made in a mold from up above Placed in this world to lighten his load To kiss this pathetic little toad To bring him back to the shining light To make him happy and feeling out of sight
